Welcome to Closet of Hope - a free resource for children in desperate situations
Closet of Hope collaborates with the local Children and Youth Services (CYS), Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), and other resources who identify and refer children to the ministry. The ministry serves children ages birth through teens, and offers FREE shopping experiences to provide them with a basic wardrobe and essentials. Most importantly, we share the love of Jesus with these children and their families.
Many children we serve have nothing but a garbage bag with a few items. At the Closet of Hope free shopping experience they are able to select their own clothing and various other needed items - the younger children especially love to choose a stuffed animal to take with them as well.
Teens served by the Closet of Hope are usually living in supervised group situations without parents or foster parents and learning to live independently. They are in need of clothing, shoes, and household items, such as pots and pans, for their apartments.
The Closet of Hope offers a simple, no-nonsense approach to helping children that provides immediate assistance without complicated procedures. Through the generous contributions of our community, the Closet of Hope maintains an abundant inventory. However, in the event an out-of-stock or specialized item is needed, thanks to people like you we are usually able to access those donations in a moments notice.
